Hello! I’m Katie Toussaint (Thurston is the married last name). I’m a health and wellness writer, certified yoga instructor (Yoga Alliance) and certified nutrition coach (Precision Nutrition Level 1) based in Charlotte, NC. When I’m not working my day job, I love to share my experiences with mindful moving, mindful eating and overall mindful living.

My mix of services:

  • Freelance writing. I write for a variety of brands and publications, with a particular interest in SEO-driven blogging that creates value for the consumer.
  • Yoga instruction. While I regularly teach hot power vinyasa, I also offer private lessons and workshops focused on mindful movement, breath work, and syncing movement with breath.
  • Nutrition coaching. I enjoy working with clients one-on-one to embrace simple improvements in how they approach their relationship with food. Based on my experience, as long as you understand the basics of what your body needs and wants, and you consistently honor that with your choices, you’ll be on the right track.
